In the Maps and Navigator applications from Yandex, a map has appeared that displays road markings, traffic islands and parking spaces. This was reported in the press service of the service.
“This is a new generation map on which roads are displayed as in a real city: with lane markings, parking spaces and traffic islands. Such details make it easier to navigate the road, especially at difficult junctions,” the message says.
Yandex.Maps noted that to connect the markings, you need to go to the “Navigator” tab in “Maps” or build a route by car and start driving. It is clarified that the updates will be available when the phone is connected to CarPlay or Android Auto.
For now, the update is available only on the map of Moscow within the Third Ring Road, on the Moscow Ring Road and major highways. In addition, roads on the maps of the central regions of St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, etc. were updated.
