A yellow weather alert is in effect starting this afternoon for parts of Tuscany, Italy, with scattered rainfall expected, particularly in inland areas. The regional civil protection operations room issued the warning, anticipating the heaviest precipitation tomorrow, Tuesday, January 6th.
Gusts of wind up to 50 km/h are possible tomorrow on the northern plains, perhaps stronger along the coast. Light snowfall is also anticipated today on the hills of Florence and Arezzo, above altitudes of 900-1000 meters, and at lower elevations on the eastern slopes of the Mugello region.
