Tehran: Iran has admitted for the first time that it supplied drones to Russia.

Iran’s export of drones and missiles to Russia has come under heavy criticism in the past few days. Ukraine also claimed to have destroyed 300 Iranian-made drones so far. However, Iran has consistently maintained that it is not exporting drones to Russia.

This is the first time Iran has admitted to exporting drones to Russia. Iran’s Finance Minister Hossein Amir said, “Yes, we exported drones to Russia. “We supplied a small number of drones to Russia a few months before Russia went to war with Ukraine.”

Following this, Ukrainian President Zelensky said that Iran is lying about the drone issue. Zelensky said, “Iran is lying. Iran has supplied a large number of drones. Russia used those drones to attack our fuel stations and civilians.”

At the end of February, Russia launched a war against Ukraine, which decided to join the European Union. Many parts of Ukraine are currently under Russian military control. The United States and European countries have provided a large number of modern weapons in support of Ukraine. With these, the Ukrainian soldiers are carrying out attacks against the Russian army and recovering the lost areas.

Millions of people in Ukraine have been displaced to neighboring countries due to the war. Thousands of people have been killed by Russia. In this situation, it is noteworthy that Ukraine has been publishing war crimes committed by Russia from time to time.
