young and the Restless: Jack Abbott – Billy Abbott

Billy Abbott’s Deal and Jack’s Fury

The conflict extends to Billy Abbott’s dealings with Sally Spectra (courtney Hope). Billy admitted to offering Cane Ashby control of Chancellor in exchange for assistance in reclaiming Newman Enterprises. This move stems from Billy’s lingering resentment over his mother, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), selling Chancellor to victor. Sally, however, is frustrated, questioning Billy’s motives given their recent launch of Abbottcom.

Sally expressed her distrust, believing Billy was being dishonest and prioritizing his own agenda. Billy maintained he hadn’t finalized the deal with Cane, but Sally worried Victor would retaliate if Billy acquired Chancellor. He countered that Victor was already targeting him, making the acquisition worthwhile. Sally threatened to leave if Billy proceeded with the deal.

Jack’s anger reached a boiling point as he confronted Billy, learning about the offer to Cane. Jack vehemently opposed the arrangement, fearing Cane and Phyllis Summers would exploit the AI and perhaps target Jabot. He accused Billy of aligning with dangerous individuals, prompting a heated argument. Phyllis, meanwhile, informed Cane that their takeover of Newman Enterprises was imminent.

Victoria Newman’s Stand

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) immediately intervened, declaring she wouldn’t allow the takeover without a fight. She intends to negotiate with Cane and Phyllis, attempting to reason with them or strike a deal. Having witnessed Victor and Nick’s failures, Victoria’s approach remains uncertain, but she may attempt to leverage Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) relationship with Cane to sway his decision.
