Christians around the world are celebrating Easter, which marks the resurrection of Jesus. Around thirty young Catholics aged 13 to 25 from the pastoral Jura – which includes the Jura and the Bernese Jura – have gathered since Thursday for a climb towards Easter in Moutier and its surroundings. They were supervised by around ten accompanying people. On the program: walking, activities and times of reflection and prayer, all in a good mood. The event was also intended to be ecumenical since the young people of the pastoral Jura participated in a waste collection action in the town of Moutier organized by the evangelical Reformed communities. The event ended with Easter Sunday mass at the Notre-Dame de Prévôté Church in Moutier.
Note that this was the first time that the pastoral Jura organized an Easter climb for young people across the entire region. /fco
