Music streaming service YouTube Music can now change covers of your playlists, replacing them with ones created by the neural network. Users will be able to specify text descriptions, after which the AI itself will offer several pictures to choose from.
To create an AI-generated cover, you need to click on the pen icon in the lower right corner of the current playlist cover. Next, you need to select a category, for example, animals, drinks and food, travel or nature, after which the neural network will offer tips. The result will be five images from which users can choose cover art for the playlist.
You still can’t upload your own images as playlist covers. This feature is only available to English users in the US. YouTube Music plans to expand the geographic availability of the feature in the future and add support for other languages.
