Lo Zecchino D’Oro is back: the historic song festival for children, now in its 64th edition, is broadcasting live on Rai 1 (this afternoon from 5.05 pm the second part of the competition conducted by Francesca Fialdini and Paolo Conticini which Sunday 5 December they will pass the baton to the artistic director Carlo Conti, at the helm of the final scheduled from 5.20 pm). Over the years, many children have taken turns on the historic stage of the Antoniano in Bologna. The fate of the little performer of the third-ranked song in the 1968 edition is well-known: Cristina D’Avena, who at the age of three and a half captivated viewers with Il waltz del moscerino, became the queen of cartoon themes. Other very young singers have also continued to make music, while there are those who – despite their success – have chosen other paths: here are their stories.
