The Ministry of Commerce announced today, Tuesday, that the mills have begun contracting with the General Company for Grain Manufacturing to produce zero flour, while it set a date for the production of zero flour.
The Director of Mills at the Ministry, Haider Nouri, told the (INA): “The mills have begun contracting with the General Company for Grain Manufacturing, in order to supply them with local wheat.”
Nouri explained that “the plans include importing Russian wheat, in order to mix it with local wheat to improve its quality and produce zero flour.”
He added, “There is a Russian ship loaded with 40,000 tons of wheat that will arrive soon,” stressing that “the process of mixing local wheat with Russian wheat to produce zero flour will begin next week.”
