jpnn.comJAKARTA – PDI-P politician Aryo Seno Bagaskoro mentioned the legal dissenting opinion at the Constitutional Court (MK) regarding the latest statement by PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan regarding the victory of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 presidential election.

“Mr Zulhas’ opinion means responding to the Constitutional Court’s decision which included the dissenting opinion of the judge at the Constitutional Court which said that there was a social assistance effect in the election,” said Seno to the media crew, Friday (10/5).

It is known that Zulhas previously stated that he was wrong about the statement that Prabowo won because he was assisted by social assistance.

The Minister of Trade assessed that Prabowo’s victory was because the people felt love for the former Danjen Kopassus.

Zulhas even claimed that Prabowo was a figure who would serve the people and keep the little people away from hunger.

According to Seno, it is legitimate for Zulhas to talk about Prabowo’s victory because it was based on love of the people and not based on misuse of social assistance.

However, the former chairman of the Surabaya Student Alliance said that legally, through a decision at the Constitutional Court, the use of social assistance does influence elections.

“By legal mechanism, this fact was revealed at the Constitutional Court trial and it has been recorded in red ink in the history of the Republic (Indonesia, ed.),” said Seno PDIP.

PDIP politicians touched on dissenting opinions in the Constitutional Court’s decision in response to PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan’s (Zulhas) statement regarding social assistance and Prabowo-Gibran.
