The situation with the arrival of the police in the reception room of the first deputy chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the first vice speaker of the State Duma Ivan Melnikov in Moscow is a crime, said Gennady Zyuganov, chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. Earlier today, the secretary of the Moscow city party committee, Nikolai Volkov, said that the police blocked four of their lawyers, preventing them from going to court and filing lawsuits to challenge the results of electronic voting in the elections to the State Duma. The lawyers were in the building where Mr. Melnikov’s office is located.
“This is the reception room of Melnikov, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma, so those who attacked this reception room should understand that they are committing a criminal offense. This is completely unacceptable, “Mr. Zyuganov told reporters (quoted by TASS).
As previously reported in the Communist Party, the Communists are going to file lawsuits from candidates and from the party in the Presnensky District Court. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation must have time to file claims by Wednesday, September 29, before 17:00 – after that the deadline expires.
