BRAUNAU. The Goldhoodengruppe Braunau-Stadt traditional costume market was a great success. The group was able to collect 10,000 euros for the interior renovation of the Braunau parish church of St. Stephan. “We are overwhelmed,” sums up chairwoman Angelika Gerner.
“We were even sent traditional costumes from the Waldviertel,” says the chairwoman. According to the group, not only were the sales days very well received, but also the fashion show, in which donated traditional costumes were shown, and the supporting program with hairstyle tips and the lecture on the topic “Traditional costumes and us”. “Who knows, maybe the great success will motivate us to hold a new edition of this event at some point,” says Gerner.
