For the third time in his NBA career, Danny Abdia scored in double digits in two consecutive games.
Washington reached the Fortress of Phoenix this morning (Friday) and suffered for the first time this season a fourth straight loss and a seventh in eight games, 118: 98, when for the second time in 24 hours Abdia was its bright spot.

The Israeli continued his improved ability in the attack from the loss to Sacramento yesterday where he scored 15, and in 26 minutes scored 14 points (5 from 6 from the field, 1 from 2 from three, 3 from 3 from the penalty) of which 9 in the final minutes, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 abductions. The forward again finished as the leading scorer after Bradley Bill (26), and also led his team in the plus-minus index with 7+.

When he first came off the bench Abdia was not involved at all in Washington’s offense, which closed the first quarter poorly and allowed the Suns to take a 23:31 lead after 12 minutes. The visitors fell into a double-digit deficit (for the eighth time in a row) early in the second quarter, so Abdia took his first shot and sniped a three. The Israeli scored a hard half-distance basket at the end of the 24th hour that shrank to 45:40, but his team did not prevent the runner-up from running in the last minutes of the second quarter and at the break the scoreboard showed 62:50 (Bill scored 20 in the first half).

Phoenix escaped to a 20-point lead in the middle of the third quarter with a basket and a foul by Michelle Bridges, Washington once again looked off and Monty Williams ’trainees took advantage of that to travel to a 13-game home win. The record difference was 26 and in the last minutes that were only for the record, Abdia returned to the floor with 5 points. As in the game against Cleveland where he took with both hands the opportunity given to him at Garbage Time, this time too he was more aggressive and a little more selfish, and with a few good moves inside the point reached 14 points. In just four games, by the way, he scored more in the NBA.

Washington dropped to 50% success (15:15 balance) for the first time this season, while Phoenix rose to the same balance as Golden State, 5:23. In the team from the United States capital that is missing Spencer Dinwydi Monterz Harrell scored 12 and coordinators Aron Holiday and Raul Net 11 each. It will not be any easier for Wes Ansald Jr., as between Saturday and Sunday a visit awaits him at the home ground of Utah, which has won all of its last eight games.

On the orange side no less than eight players scored in double digits. Chris Paul as in every game won the chorus and contributed 12 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds, Jable Magee led the scenes with 17, Landry Shamet scored 16 and Diandra Eyton recorded 15 points with 10 rebounds. Between Sunday and Monday Phoenix will host Charlotte.
