Sivagangai: 16 thousand 211 students from 162 schools are writing the Plus 2 exam in 77 examination centers today. Collector Madhusudan Reddy has instructed to stop buses in front of examination centers and drop off students.
The state general examination for Plus 2 students will be held from today till May 28. Sivagangai 26, Devakottai 34, Tiruputhur 17 77 centers with 7,491 students from 162 schools and 16,211 students out of 8,720 are scheduled to appear for the examination. A 16-member monitoring team comprising Principal Education Officer Manivannan, headed by Associate Director (Kallar Rehabilitation School) Selvaraj, will inspect 283 standard flying force schools. 975 Supervisors have been appointed to monitor the examination at the examination centers.
Plus 1, 10th class examination This examination will be held from 10th to 31st May. With 8,178 students and 9003 students, 17,181 are scheduled to appear for the exam at 77 centers. The general examination for Class X students will be held from May 6 to 30. Of the 101 examination centers set up in the district, 18,206 are enrolled as 9318 students from 283 schools and 8,888 female students.
The government should provide uninterrupted power supply to the bus stops, all the basic facilities including fan facilities, drinking water and toilets throughout the examination halls. It is forbidden to bring more mobile phones. Students should come to the examination center in time and write the examination. Collector Madhusudan Reddy has urged government buses plying on major and rural roads to stop at the examination center and pick up and drop off students.
