Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: The Security Media Cell announced, on Friday, the arrest of 18 wanted by the judiciary according to arrest warrants issued against them since 2015 after they fled outside the country, while indicating that one of them was involved in the Speicher crime and participating in the killing of hundreds of Iraqi citizens.
The cell stated in a statement, “With an elaborate operation, fruitful follow-up, effort, qualitative intelligence maturity, and great coordination and cooperation with the Joint Operations Command, the competent security services arrested 18 wanted persons according to arrest warrants issued against them since the year 2015 after they fled outside the country. One of them was involved in the crime of Speicher and participation.” By killing hundreds of Iraqi citizens, as this fugitive criminal was hiding in one of the neighboring countries disguised under false names and papers.”
She continued, “With this great security achievement and the important qualitative efforts and intelligence maturity in pursuing terrorist targets, we pledge to our people, our people, and our citizens, especially the families of the Speicher martyrs, to continue to make the utmost effort to pursue terrorism at home and abroad, track them down, arrest them, and bring them to national justice and a fair judiciary so that they receive the punishment that the criminals deserve.” “Those who tamper with the lives of our people and our families.”
