Director Bala Divorce: Director Bala was married to Muthumalar in 2004. They also have a baby girl.
Bala worked as an assistant director to Balu Mahindra. He then made his directorial debut in the Tamil film Vikram Sethu (1999) with Sethu. He made his mark in the first film and went on to become a leading director by directing films with unique storylines such as Nanda, Pithamagan, I am God, Avan Ivan and Paradesi.
His films have won 6 National Awards, 13 State Awards, 15 Filmfare Awards and 14 International Awards so far. Actors like Vikram, Surya, Vishal and Arya became famous for their performances in films. He not only directed the film but also focused on the production.
Bala, who has produced films like Surya’s Mayavi, Mishkin’s Pisasu and Adarva’s Chandi Veeran, is currently producing Visithiran starring RK Suresh. The remake of the hit Malayalam film Joseph is set to release in May.
Bala is also directing a film starring actor Suriya. Bala, who has been busy in Tamil cinema for more than 20 years, has now divorced his wife MuthuMalar and the incident has caused a stir in the Kollywood community.
Director Bala was married to Muthumalar in 2004. They also have a baby girl. The two have been living apart for the past 4 years due to a disagreement. In this situation, the two are currently divorced after obtaining a formal divorce in the Chennai Family Court. This marks the end of their 18-year marriage.
Recently, the divorce of movie stars has become a saga. Actress Samantha and actor Naga Chaitanya got divorced last year. Following this, Director D Imman announced the divorce decision. Dhanush and Aishwarya announced their divorce earlier this year. It is noteworthy that Bala is currently on that list as well.
