The International Football Federation announced that the 2030 edition of the World Cup would be jointly hosted by Morocco, Spain and Portugal. The first matches of the competition will be held in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. By this choice, Fifa should reserve the organization of the 2034 World Cup to Asia or Oceania.
