Bayern Munich’s honorary president, Olli Hoeneßan, announced that three clubs are seeking to sign the Spanish coach, Xabi Alonso, next season.

It was reported that Bayern Munich opened the door to discussions with Alonso, Bayer Leverkusen coach, in order to succeed Thomas Tuchel in the summer.
Hoeness said in statements reported by Sky Sports: “Alonso has proven that he is capable of becoming a coach for major clubs, such as Liverpool, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, who are working to sign him.”
Sky added that Alonso is Bayern Munich’s favorite candidate, and the Spaniard may cost the Bavarian giant’s treasury between 15 and 25 million euros this summer, given that the release clause in his contract with Leverkusen, amounting to 15 million euros, will not be activated until Summer 2025.
On the other hand, Liverpool appointed Richard Hughes as a new sporting director, and he will begin his duties at the end of the current season. He has a good relationship with Alonso’s agent, noting that Reds coach Jurgen Klopp announced his departure after the end of the season.
As for Real Madrid, it extended the contract of its coach, Carlo Ancelotti, last December until 2026.
It is noteworthy that Alonso has strongly imposed his name this season as he led Leverkusen to the top of the Bundesliga, currently 10 points ahead of Bayern Munich, in addition to qualifying for the quarter-finals of the European League.
