A young man hit three young women of a family, including pregnant women, on the head with a hammer at Ottapalam Pajalakidi. A feud over teasing about love disappointment resulted in the attack. Ottapalam police arrested Bisharul Hafi at his Wayanad house in the case. Zakira, Rinsena and Aneera were injured in the house in Pazhalakidi Wayanad. The attack took place at 10 pm on Saturday. The arrested Bisharul Hafi is Rinsena’s brother and Zakira and Anira’s brother-in-law. Rincina’s head injury is serious.
Aneera and Sakira are pregnant. The young women gave a statement to the police that they took an iron hammer from outside the house and assaulted Bisharul because of his anger at the failure of his love. All three sought treatment at a private hospital in Ottapalam. Rincina’s head surgery was completed. The doctors informed that all three are under observation.
