38 years of travel.. NASA satellite returning to Earth.. Danger of parts?

by time news

NASA’s ERBS satellite is now decommissioned after 38 years of mission. The Earth Radiation Budget Satellite (ERBS) was launched into space by the NASA team. The ERS satellite was launched in 1984 by the Challenger spacecraft. It was then successfully placed into orbit. Earth absorbed and radiated energy from the sun.

The ERS satellite monitored stratospheric ozone, water vapour, nitrogen dioxide and aerosols during its transit days. In this case, the 2,450 kg satellite completes its mission and returns back to earth. Most of its components will burn up upon reentry, NASA said. However some fragments are expected to fall to earth without burning up. But NASA has said that it will also be implemented in a way that does not harm humans.

NASA’s ERBS satellite is expected to land on Sunday (tomorrow) night. The California-based aerospace corporation predicted it would hit Earth on Sunday night or Monday. A fall in the waters of the United States is about to be implemented. Even if the satellite falls, its components are activated so that humans are not endangered.
