Bucharest: Four people were burnt to death on the spot in an explosion at an arms factory in Romania.

The largest arms factory is located in Babini, in the southern part of the southeastern European country of Romania. Established to manufacture military technology, the plant manufactures and distributes military equipment to the Romanian military and NATO forces.

The arms factory employs more than 100 workers. It produces all kinds of weapons needed by the army, such as land mines and grenades.

In this condition the factory was running as usual last Thursday evening. All the workers were busy producing weapons. Some of them were deactivating and testing loopholes. Then, unexpectedly, a loophole exploded. Following this, a series of weapons, including grenades, exploded in the factory. In which the factory itself was shaken. Many parts of the factory caught fire. This created great tension and panic among the workers. All the workers ran screaming for their lives.

Meanwhile, firefighters and disaster rescue crews rushed to the scene after receiving information about the crash. Firefighters doused the fire with water. However, four workers were burnt to death on the spot in the accident. Another 4 people were seriously injured. All 4 of them were immediately recovered and admitted for treatment at a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, prosecutors have registered a criminal case against the factory management for failing to follow safety measures at the factory, according to reports.
