In the local body elections in Namakkal district, elections were held for 151 seats in 5 municipalities and 288 seats in 19 municipalities for a total of 439 posts. 2 in the municipality and 6 in the municipality were elected without contest.
The winners of this election, who were elected without contest, were elected to their respective municipal and municipal offices.
In Kumarapalayam municipality 33, in Namakkal municipality 39, in Pallipalayam 11, in Rasipuram 27 and in Tiruchengode 33 a total of 153 persons were elected.
Out of 19 municipalities, 18 each in Namagiripettai, Paramathivelur and Senthamangalam municipalities.
