Within the scope of the investment program implemented in the priority sector by the decisions of the government, permits to use the duty exemption privilege were granted to “Yerevan Elektrotransport” and “AES Trade” companies.
“Yerevan Electric Transport” plans to organize the operation of trolleybus routes with the newly imported number of 15 trolleybuses of city purpose to ensure regular transportation service of the population of the capital city.
It is planned to import a YUTONG BUS ZK6128BEVG brand, adapted for the service of disabled people, with 25+2 soft seats and the ability to transport no less than 85 passengers, with autonomous running (off-grid: at least 60 km, maximum speed of 60 km/h), cabin heating and 15 railless trolleybuses equipped with a cooling system, which will allow 5 urban transport routes to be equipped with new rolling stock and significantly increase the number of users of quality ground electric transport services. The possible development of the trolleybus network will also relieve the burden on some public transport routes, carrying out the safe and secure transportation of the population by environmentally friendly electric transport.
Within the framework of the project, it is planned to invest 2.1 billion drams for the purchase of trolleybuses. It is planned to create 40 new jobs within the framework of the investment program with an average monthly salary of 196 thousand drams. The value of the goods submitted for obtaining the privilege is 2.1 billion drams. The privilege of exemption from customs duty is estimated at 311.8 million drams.
“AES Trade” company plans to use the imported raw materials for the production of PVC profiles. The company plans to sell the released products in the territory of RA, and export the rest to Georgia. The production will be carried out in Yerevan, having already invested 30 million drams. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to invest 200 million drams for the implementation of construction works and the acquisition of capital assets.
Within the framework of the investment program, it is planned to create 5 new jobs with an average monthly salary of up to 220 thousand drams. The value of the goods submitted for obtaining the privilege is 15 billion drams. The privilege of exemption from customs duty is estimated at 922 million drams.
