A Yeti Airlines flight landed at Nepal’s Pokhara International Airport with 68 passengers on board. There were 72 people on board, including the crew. The plane crashed while landing on the runway. The entire plane was engulfed in flames.
An Eti Airways spokesperson said the airport has been temporarily closed and rescue operations have been stepped up. The government of Nepal announced that all the passengers on the plane had died. All 4 Indians who were traveling in the plane died.

So far, the bodies of 16 people have been recovered, and rescue operations have been intensified. The Cabinet meeting of the Government of Nepal has been urgently convened.
