75th Independence Day celebrations at Palladam

The Amulet Festival Exhibition was launched on Sunday at the Thiruppu District Administration Chapel to mark the 75th Independence Day in Palladam.

District Governor Vineet presided over the function. Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj took the lead. Ministry MP Saminathan opened the exhibition. Speaking on the occasion, Minister MB Saminathan said that welfare assistance worth Rs. 15.08 crore was provided to 541 beneficiaries.

The 75th Independence Day is celebrated in Tiruppur district. There will be a photo exhibition on the martyrs of the freedom struggle and exhibition halls set up by the Department of Public Relations on the plans and achievements of the government. 17 lakh 59 thousand 986 worth of petrol scooters for 18 persons with disabilities in various departments of the Government and Rs. 19 crore 676 for 4 persons in the Department of Animal Husbandry worth Rs. Welfare assistance has been provided.

Earlier, Ministries MP Saminathan and Kayalvizhi Selvaraj launched the Environmental Protection and Plastic Eradication Awareness Cycle Rally. Following this, the martyrs of the freedom struggle were honored with gold medals.

The yellow bag was again distributed to the public through the Yellow Bag Project as a way of raising awareness. Exhibition halls have been set up at various government departments, including the Department of Plastic Eradication, the Department of Tourism, the Department of Food Safety, the Department of Forestry, the Department of School Education, the Department of Women’s, and the Department of Fire.
