More than two thirds of Chileans (76%) support the idea of ​​​​deploying the military to the streets to help with public order tasksas revealed by the latest Criteria survey.

On the other hand, the Criteria survey revealed that 85% of those surveyed agree with reinforcing the presence of Carabineros in the streetswhich represents an increase of 28 points compared to what was recorded four years ago.

Furthermore, the 46% support the introduction of curfewswhich implies an increase of nine points compared to 2019.

At once, 59% of those surveyed agreed with asking the Army to take to the streets to take charge of social control.

Support for Boric and presidential race

The latest Criteria survey showed that Support for the management of President Gabriel Boric remains at 30%, the same one he showed last March. While, disapproval did not change either and remains at 56%.
