New Delhi ∙ Covid cases are also increasing in India. However, sources in the Ministry of Health said that this increase is due to increased testing and there is no cause for concern. It is clear from the figures provided by the Ministry of Health yesterday that there was an increase of 38 new cases on Friday alone. 201 cases were reported on Friday and 163 cases on Thursday. 185 positive cases were confirmed on Wednesday. Meanwhile, only 11 deaths have been reported in the country in the last 3 days. Although seven of these are in Kerala, these are taken into account of earlier Covid deaths. New deaths were reported only in Maharashtra and Delhi.

The Ministry of Health also said that the weekly confirmation rate is still 0.14%. The daily confirmation rate was 0.15% on Friday. According to the World Health Organization, only if the confirmation rate goes above 5 percent is there a danger situation.
