► A Ukraine-EU summit on February 3
A summit between Ukraine and the European Union will take place in kyiv on February 3 to discuss European financial and military support, the office of President Volodymyr Zelensky announced. The EU has confirmed the date but not the place of this meeting.
The spokesperson for the President of the European Council Charles Michel specified that Volodymyr Zelensky, Charles Michel and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen would participate in this summit and not the 27 Heads of State and Government of the member countries.

Russia is facing internal criticism after the death of 63 soldiers in Ukraine, killed in a Ukrainian strike, the heaviest loss in a single attack admitted by Moscow since the start of the invasion.
Russian commentators accuse senior military commanders of failing to learn from past mistakes. “Ten months after the start of the war, it is dangerous and criminal to consider the enemy as a fool who sees nothing”said Andrei Medvedev, Deputy Speaker of the Moscow City Legislative Assembly.
► Putin orders the screening of documentaries on the Russian offensive
Vladimir Putin on Tuesday ordered his government to organize the cinema screening of “documentary films” on the offensive of Moscow’s forces in Ukraine.
“To the Ministry of Culture to submit proposals to ensure the screening of national documentary films in cinema networks on subjects related to the special military operation, the fight against the spread of neo-Nazi and neo-fascist ideology”assures the Kremlin website.
► France and Sweden reaffirm their support for Ukraine
During a visit to Paris by the Swedish Prime Minister, France and Sweden reaffirmed their determination to support Ukraine in the tenth month of the Russian offensive.
“Ukrainians need our support more than ever”underlined Emmanuel Macron. “The victory of Ukraine is existential for Europe and for the whole world”added Ulf Kristersson, the Swedish Prime Minister.
