The Israeli scored seven points in 21 minutes (2-for-2 from the field, 1-for-1 from beyond the arc and 2-for-2 from the penalty box).
Avdia added five rebounds and two assists, but his performance did not rise to a high level offensively, when in defense he finished with four fouls, three of them in 37 seconds. The Wizards enjoyed a winning basket by Daniel Gafford in the last minute on the way to a 34:31 balance.
For the weak Pistons (51:15 balance), Jayden Ivey stood out with 26 points and 12 assists. On the other hand, Bradley Beal finished with 32 points, seven assists and seven rebounds, Kistaps Porzingis contributed 24 points and Kyle Kuzma finished with 23 points for Washington.
