List of Happiest Countries in the World; Finland won the first place! India, Ukraine, Russia?

Founded in 2012, ‘Sustainable Development Solutions Network’, an organization from the United States, is engaged in research in education, economy, environment, society, and health.

These studies are being conducted in over 144 countries across 50 networks. The research is conducted with the help of around 1,700 members, the world’s top researchers, the Gallup World Poll and several universities.

Mainly, the company publishes the list of the happiest countries in the world on the International Day of Happiness (March 20) every year. The study said the list will be prepared based on GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom to choose life, generosity, injustices and corruption.

Also, the studies of world’s top universities like Columbia University, London School of Economics, University of British Columbia, University of Oxford, Simon Fraser University are also taken into account in making this list.

In that way, the list of the happiest countries in the world for the year 2023 has been released.

Finland

In this, for the sixth time again, ‘Finland’ has taken the first place. It is followed by Denmark, Iceland, Israel, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Luxembourg, New Zealand and other countries occupying the top ten positions. India is ranked 126th. Afghanistan ranks last at 137. Countries that experienced major wars last year are Russia at 70th and Ukraine at 92nd.
