The Governor of the Eastern Region communicates:
« It has been given to me to note that despite the measure of closure of all the artisanal gold panning sites and the suspension of all activities related to the exploitation of gold on the said sites throughout the of the regional territory, subject of press release No. 2023-002/MATDS/REST/GVRT-FGRM/CAB of January 24, 2023, plans to exploit gold on the sites are still in progress in the Region.
