Minister Ma Subramanian said that 19 lakh people were vaccinated at the 15th Mega Corona Vaccination Camp held across Tamil Nadu today.
He was speaking to reporters in Chennai. He noted that while 72 lakh doses of vaccines were in stock, about 50,000 places had been vaccinated to the public since morning.
So far, he said, 80 million people in the state have been vaccinated. The Minister also said that so far 84% of the people in Tamil Nadu have been vaccinated with the first installment and 54% with the second installment.
