1 million Tesla cars sold in 2021!

Elon Musk’s Tesla sold nearly 1 million cars last year (2021).

Tesla, which is managed by Elon Musk, said last year that it aims to increase its deliveries by about 50 percent.

However, Tesla surpassed its target and sold a total of 936,000 cars by 2021.

This is 87 per cent more than the previous year (2020).

Tesla sold 308,600 cars in the final quarter (Q4) of 2021 alone. Similarly, 241,300 cars were sold in the third quarter (Q3).

Last October, car rental company Hertz alone bought 100,000 electric vehicles from Tesla.

Meanwhile, sales of Tesla cars have skyrocketed.

Last year’s deliveries included 11,750 Model S and X models, and 296,850 Model 3 and Y models.

Out of a total of 936,172 deliveries, Model 3 and Y were the top sellers.
