With Sergey V. LAVROV, discussions revolved around security and humanitarian aspects, in particular the Russian Federation’s commitment to grant more than 25,000 tons of cereals to help the country deal with the humanitarian emergency.
According to the head of Burkinabe diplomacy, the meeting was also intended to be a framework for exchange on questions of economic cooperation with a view to creating conditions for the benefit of businessmen from both countries.
Russia, very committed alongside Burkina Faso, intends to soon open its embassy in Ouagadougou, with the aim of boosting the Moscow – Ouagadougou axis.
