(Saturday September 30, 2023) The Eleventh Fire and Rescue Company of the National Fire Brigade based in Ouagadougou intervened very early this morning at 4:09 a.m. for “residential house fire” in Kamboinsin, sector 39 .

When emergency services arrived, a single ground floor house was partially engulfed in flames. Results: 04 victims died from poisoning by smoke and hot gases. Significant material damage was also recorded.
The National Fire Brigade strongly recommends the installation of autonomous smoke detectors in residential buildings. Anything that could help prevent and avoid such tragedies.
