Following the meeting held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 with technical and financial partners on the implementation of the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) partnership plan for Burkina Faso, the stakeholders focused on the validation of the partnership plan in the implementation of the CDN.
Pamoussa Ouédraogo, permanent secretary of the national council for development, returned to the importance of the adoption of the plan. “This partnership plan consists of mobilizing funding through projects that ministries and institutions will develop with a view to achieving the objectives and targets defined in the CDN”he indicated.

Listening to him, there are mobilizations that have already been achieved with a certain number of partners. “The projects which will be validated in the partnership plan will be put into the circuit of seeking funding from partners. For those who have part of the financing and others could also have additional funds”, said Pamoussa Ouédraogo.

Also, Athanase Péléga Kinda, facilitator at NDC partnershiphip, made it clear that following validation of the partnership plan, “the government will send a request to the NDC Partnership which in turn will address all of its members to see the possibilities of support according to the intervention cycles of each partner in order to support Burkina Faso to achieve its objectives”.
