The ministry in charge of communication is organizing the 4th edition of its sporting activities from October 12 to November 9, 2023. Launched this Thursday, October 12, 2023, by the head of the ministry, this edition will see the participation of the different bodies of the said department. From October 12 to November 9, 2023, actors from the ministry in charge of communication will form teams to commune in football and many other sporting disciplines, in Ouagadougou through the 4th edition of the said ministry’s cup.
« In football we have eight teams. The ministry is made up of communication, culture, tourism and cross-functional bodies. It is therefore the different bodies of the ministry which will come together to form teams to compete. Of course, the ministry’s schools will also participate. We will also have private cultural actors who will support us,” said Ézéquiel Bamogo, coordinator of the ministry’s sports unit.
The head of the ministry, Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, took the opportunity to say that this competition aims to promote living together among those involved in the ministry. “ I think that the benefits of sport cannot be explained. Sport is a factor of cohesion.
So, this competition will allow ministry agents to rub shoulders and also strengthen their solidarity. Sport is also a factor of well-being and this is what motivates the government to support the sports unit in holding this cup. Beyond the sporting element, it is above all the vector of cohesion within the department that we are promoting”underlined Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo.

Before adding that “When agents find themselves outside of the office, this state of mind helps to strengthen their performance in the office. All this to give the agents the opportunity to meet again. When agents are in good shape, and work in good harmony with each other, it is the guarantee of better performance for the department”.
So here we go for almost a month of promoting social cohesion and living together through sport. On October 21, a board game is planned between the actors of the ministry at the National Institute for Training in Performing and Visual Arts (INAFAC). The Maracaña competition will be played within the national museum. Its final is scheduled for November 9, 2023.
