The 18th edition of digital week will be held from November 14 to 18, 2023. This edition offers, according to Dr Aminata Zerbo/Sabane, minister in charge of digital transition, representative of the Prime Minister, the opportunity for security and defense, humanitarian action, health, education, and communication, to discuss initiatives that digital technology can support with a view to mitigating the effects of security and humanitarian crises on populations in Burkina Faso.

“This edition of digital week, dedicated to humanitarian and security crises, offers us, once again, the opportunity to discuss mechanisms to leverage digital technology in order to strengthen the resilience of our people », she emphasized. And to achieve this, sub-themes will be developed during this digital week, listening to Dr Aminata Zerbo/ Sabane.

These include, among other things, “ICT and security challenges; Vital digital infrastructure for resilient health services; Digital technology for quality education for internally displaced people”, said the minister in charge of digital transition.

Dr Aminata Zerbo/Sabane also indicated that “the disciplinary diversity of the participants, their intellectual quality, their professionalism and their diverse experiences leave no shadow of doubt as to the quality and richness of the conclusions which will emerge from the different frameworks of exchanges of this edition of the Week of Digital ».
