Pop superstar Taylor Swift flew halfway across the country to attend her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s game on Sunday, only to watch the Kansas City Chiefs suffer another defeat.
After flying from New Jersey to Kansas City in time for the game against the Bills, Swift and Kelce were spotted leaving Arrowhead hand in hand, with Swift trying to console a disappointed Kelce.
Following the 20-17 defeat, the pair will spend some more time together ahead of Swift’s upcoming 34th birthday on Wednesday. As Swift comforted her boyfriend, she was seen in an all-black outfit, perhaps matching the mood of Kelce after the tough loss.
Swift’s presence at Chiefs games has garnered attention, with the pop sensation being named TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year. She spoke out about the incidents of being broadcasted at the games and the attention she receives as a result.
The game on Sunday was the sixth game of the season that Swift attended to watch Kelce in action. The superstar tight end nearly became the hero of the game, but a late call from the referee on an offensive offsides left the Chiefs with another disappointing loss.
The decision left quarterback Patrick Mahomes furious, with the incident putting a stop to a game-winning play by Kelce. Despite the frustration, Kelce remained calm on the field.
