The creators of the Ukrainian site “Peacemaker” mockingly spoke about the death of People’s Artist of the RSFSR Leonid Kuravlev. According to the Novorossiya website, they noted in their Telegram channel that “there is one less occupier.”
It is alleged that Kuravlev was added to the database of the scandalous website for supporting the return of Crimea to Russia, as well as the republics of Donbass.
The death of Kuravlev became known on Sunday, January 30. He died at the age of 86. Recently, the artist has been seriously ill, at the beginning of the year he was treated at a hospital in Kommunarka, although infection with the coronavirus was not confirmed.
As noted in the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, Kuravlev will be buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow. Funeral events are scheduled for Tuesday, February 1. Most likely, there will be no open farewell.
