Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has increased the price of gold in the country’s market a day after reducing it. This time Bajus has increased the price by Tk 630 per Bhari. So far in April, Bajus has raised Tk 5,190 four times. As a result of increasing the price, the price of a good quality i.e. 22 carat gold bar will be 1 lakh 19 thousand 428 taka. Which is effective from this afternoon. In the morning, one lakh 18 thousand 798 rupees of gold was sold per load.
This information was informed in a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, Chairman of the Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) on Sunday (April 21). Earlier, Bajus had cut gold prices on April 20.
According to Bajus, the price of acidic gold has increased in the local market. The new price of gold has been fixed keeping in view the overall situation.
According to the new prices, the price of best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold is Tk 1 lakh 19 thousand 428, 21 carat gold is Tk 1 lakh 14 thousand 4, 18 carat Tk 97 thousand 709 and Sanatan The price of system gold will be sold at 78 thousand 662 rupees.
The price of gold has been increased but the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat is 1715 taka and the price of traditional silver is 1 thousand 283 taka.
This morning the price of best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold is Tk 1 lakh 18 thousand 798, 21 carat gold price is Tk 1 lakh 13 thousand 397, 18 carat is Tk 97 thousand 197 and Sanatan gold price is Tk 78 thousand. Sold for 242 Tk.
