Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, in an interview with reporters, once again accused Israel of “atrocious crimes” against Palestinian Arabs. He called the head of the Israeli government “the Adolf Hitler of our time” and said Ankara would continue to highlight Jerusalem “atrocities” allegedly committed by its troops in the Gaza Strip.
During his interview with TRT television, the Turkish head of state called on the international community to do everything necessary to stop the “Israeli aggression” against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
“We will not ignore the crimes committed by Israel and will continue to present evidence to the International Court of Justice,” Erdogan said.
He also drew attention to “Israeli attacks on members of the media” in Gaza, calling it an attempt to cover up the traces of “mass killings and destruction of evidence of genocide.”
The Turkish leader added that the Gaza issue is one of the most important issues for the Islamic world, calling for unity to find a solution and develop effective policies. He also expressed his readiness to continue discussing with the terrorist group Hamas the possibility of achieving peace in the enclave.
Earlier, Kursor wrote that the media learned how Turkey wants to influence the situation in the Gaza Strip. Ankara has tried to persuade Arab states to form a coalition to govern the region.
