The President of the Iraqi Aquatics Federation, Khaled Abdel Wahed Ghabian, won membership in the Asian Aquatics Federation.
The media office of the Iraqi Aquatics Federation stated in a statement received by the (INA) that “Kabyan won 39 votes out of a total of 41 votes in the elections held today, Friday, in the Thai capital, Bangkok.”
The statement noted that “the elections also resulted in Kuwaiti Sheikh Khaled Al-Sabah winning a new term as president of the Asian Aquatics Federation.”
According to the statement, Ghabian expressed his “utmost thanks to the General Assembly for the confidence they have bestowed on him, stressing at the same time that he will strive with his colleagues in the Executive Office of the Asian Aquatics Confederation to advance the work of the Continental Federation and support and support the national federations on the continent in order to develop them and achieve successes in a way that is compatible with the next stage.” Asian Aquatics Federation.
