The Cocoa Route project has the active participation of various national and international entities, including the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Palanda canton, the Prefecture of Zamora Chinchipe, the Ministry of Culture, the National Institute of Cultural Heritage, the University of Zacatecas (Mexico), among others.
The visitors, including Mexican and Spanish citizens, were amazed to learn up close the Santa Ana La Florida Archaeological Site and its relevance in the history of cocoa. They highlighted the importance of Palanda possessing this archaeological complex, recognizing it as a place of incalculable historical and cultural value.
