The instant messaging application WhatsApp has activated a function to make it easier to search for messages in chats: users can now search for them by date.
Searching WhatsApp chats will be “even easier” with the search function by date, the platform says. Now you just have to choose a day to directly access messages sent from that date.
“It’s a perfect feature to revisit a message that made you smile or to double-check when you sent information to someone. Searching by date makes it easier to consult your chats,” summarizes WhatsApp.

You just have to click on any chat, tap the contact or group name at the top and click “Search” to choose the date you want to go to. This novelty has been presented by the founder of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, also on his WhatsApp channel.
