islamabad: Pakistan’s PM Shahbaz Sharif has said that about 3.25 crore children of the country are not able to go to school. In such a situation, it should be seen as an education emergency. Pakistani YouTuber Qamar Cheema has spoken to Pakistani-American Sajid Tarar on this issue. Qamar said that generally there is talk of competition with India but with these figures comparison with India is not possible. Instead of India, we seem to be going on the path of Afghanistan. On this, Tarar said that PM Shahbaz has only made empty statements. They have said that 2 crore 60 lakh children are away from school but are they taking any steps in this direction?
Sajid Tarar further said, ‘Shahbaz Sharif has said that education is an emergency but he is not focused on solving it. They just see it as an event to sit with UNICEF officials and give a statement. Will Shahbaz ask the parents of these children why their children are not going to school? Are these parents in a position to pay school fees and uniform for their children? If they ask, they will know why this is happening.

Not only competition with IIT… Pakistanis made Shehbaz Sharif equal to India, also made fun of Mission Moon

People in Pakistan have no money

Sajid Tarar said that the economic condition in Pakistan is very bad. The prices of milk, electricity and flour are so high that a large population is not able to even think about education. People neither have opportunities for education nor any work. The result is that these children grow up and reach foreign countries by adopting any illegal means. Somehow they find some work there and then send some money to their families. After this one can go home somewhere.

Tarar further said, ‘There is talk of competition with India but these are only talks. The children coming out of IITs and IIMs in India, the children coming out of the universities there, can compete anywhere in the world. India has created excellent educational institutions in the last few decades. There is nothing like this in Pakistan, if you think that our children will study without universities and schools, then we are in great trouble. At present, competition with India seems beyond Pakistan’s control.
