Riyadh: Travel Ban: Saudi Arabia imposes travel ban on India India is currently on the list of countries where Saudi nationals should not go due to the spread of Kovid. The move was taken by the Saudi Passport Directorate (Jawazat).
Saudi Arabia has removed India’s name from the list of banned countries, but India is now on the revised list as the spread of the Kovid has dwindled and the threat has receded. (Travel Ban).

Saudi nationals travel to 16 countries, including India, Lebanon, Turkey, Yemen, Syria, Indonesia, Iran, Armenia, Congo, Libya, Belarus, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Somalia, Afghanistan and Venezuela. It is expected that these countries will have similar travel bans to Saudi Arabia, but this is not clear.

The names of the countries were revealed by Saudi officials in response to an inquiry by a person on the Directorate’s Twitter regarding the travel ban.
