Rumors swirling around a potential transfer between Spain and Italy have finally been confirmed: a deal is very close to closure to bring Marc Pubill from Almería to Atalanta. The 2003-born player, who had also been considered by Roma, is just a step away from joining the Nerazzurri for a sum of approximately 16 million euros. The final approval is expected from the Spanish side, who will be holding new talks with the Nerazzurri management. In the last league season, he played in 23 matches, scoring a goal in the match against Granada. A knee injury kept him off the field from September to January. With Spain, he will play in the final of the Olympics against France.
