When Christopher Forzingis joined Washington, Israel basketball fans were waiting for this moment. In Washington’s 123: 133 win over Indiana tonight (Sunday through Monday), in which Forzingis made his Wizards debut, the new star and Danny Abdia were listed for one move that shook the Capital One Arena.
With two minutes left in the match and the Wizards leading 119: 122, Kyle Kozma recorded a big block on Buddy the boy and Abdia who got the ball in the pass sent a beautiful pass to Forzingis who completed Eli-op with a dunk with one hand and bounced the local fans. After that move the Pacers called a timeout, which did not prevent a loss. The Latvian led the winner with 25 points in 21 minutes and the Israeli scored 10 points and dropped 7 rebounds in 31 minutes.
