In this context, the Indian envoy to the UN Security Council, TS Thirumurthy, expressed concern over the Pucha massacre. He said India strongly condemned the move and called for an independent inquiry. TS Thirumurthy noted that India was sending medicines and essential items to Ukraine and its neighbors in view of the dire situation prevailing in the country. He also pointed out that India had been insisting from the outset that diplomatic talks should continue.
