Höxter District Schools Dominate Regional and National Competitions
A testament to the strength of athletic programs in the region, schools within the Höxter district are consistently achieving high levels of success, extending their leadership beyond local competitions. Recent achievements, including silver medals at a national event, underscore the dedication and talent fostered within these institutions.
In May, both Marianum Warburg high school and schools from Brede Brakel secured silver medals in the “Youth trained for the Olympics” final held in Berlin. This impressive showing highlights the high caliber of competition at the district championships, which featured a total of 22 teams representing six schools.
The tournament, as always, was expertly managed by Bernd Övermöhle of Brede Brakel, demonstrating a consistent level of organizational excellence. The success of these teams reflects a broader trend of athletic achievement within the Höxter district, positioning its schools as leaders in the region and beyond.
